What are you afraid to say out loud about Israel? How can we create a safe space to dialogue with one another about what has become in many communities the "forbidden conversation?" Israeli-American actor Gili Getz will open with his autobiographical one-man performance exploring the difficulty of having a conversation about Israel in the American Jewish community. Following the performance, we will have the opportunity to explore our own struggles around engaging in dialogue around Israel in our own communities and in the community of the CCAR. Rabbis Noa Sattath and Judith Schindler will share what they learned from their experience of co-authoring a chapter in their book Deepening the Dialogue.
