Getting Good at Getting Older
My Session Status
There is a new life stage populated by a huge percentage of Jews, the stage between maturity when we built our careers/raised our families and frail old age. Yet this important stage remains largely overlooked and those in it under-served by our synagogues and Jewish institutions. In the 1960's and 70's baby boomers reshaped Judaism, changing the Jewish world for the better. Now they are in their 60’s and 70’s, and many want to continue to be change agents, re-imagining what it means to get older and re-framing Judaism to acknowledge the skills, wisdom and resources they could bring to our congregations and the larger Jewish community. Join Rabbi Laura Geller for a conversation about how to change the paradigm of what it means to be growing older
