Raising and asking for money does not need to be difficult or scary. Through this session, the participants will learn how to utilize philanthropy as a tool in furthering engagement with congregants, strengthen relationships, and increase charitable giving to the congregation. They will recognize how their role in raising funds can be an important part of their congregants’ individual Jewish journeys, and be introduced to the congregational practices and structures associated with creating a congregational culture of philanthropy and the key to financial sustainability.
