The SPARC Center (Sex Workers Promoting Action, Risk Reduction, and Community Mobilization) is a full-service drop-in center located in Southwest Baltimore. They provide low barrier, harm reduction services to at-risk women. On-site service providers address the needs of individuals in a safe, convenient, and non-stigmatizing environment, to increase the likelihood of continued engagement and service utilization at SPARC. This session would include a tour of SPARC, an introduction to our services, the supplies we provide, and the social justice work we do. Discussion around barriers to care, and how the work at SPARC fits into a larger societal framework, would be central to this breakout forum.
