What Might a New Jewish Theology Look Like?

My Session Status

Duration:
1 hour
What does contemporary Jewish Theology look like, and how is it structured? Eugene Borowitz wrote “The Problem of the Form of a Jewish Theology” in 1970, and we will consider some of his key arguments with the perspective of half a century. We will also look at some contemporary exponents of contemporary Jewish Theology you may not have met before – Tony Bayfield, Mara Benjamin, Yishai Mevorach and Melissa Raphael. If there’s time, there will also be a sneak peek at Michael’s proposed form for his Jewish Theology in formation.
