After her rabbinic ordination, Rabbi Asch worked as a community organizer with the Industrial Areas Foundation. Now a pulpit rabbi in Augusta, Maine, Rabbi Asch is also Assistant Director of the Center for Small Town Jewish Life (http://www.colby.edu/jewishlife/) and serves as a board member for the Central Conference of American Rabbis. She is active in the Capital Area New Mainers Project (https://newmainersproject.org), an organization that welcomes immigrants and refugees and helps them thrive in Central Maine.
