Join us as we introduce this forthcoming transformative framework for the seder, a first ever Haggadah which alternates the whole of traditional liturgy alongside optional contemporary poems by renown authors. The newest of CCAR’s family of groundbreaking, ritual-expanding holiday texts, the poetry Haggadah offers a new communal journey—and the possibility that each participant will connect to the experience of the seder’s ancient challenges and progressions with deepened insight and new questions. This workshop will give an overview of the Haggadah and examples of how the collaboration between poems and liturgy deliver the profound vitality of the holiday to the table.
