She graduated the Ofra Girls High School and went on to receive a BA in Psychology from Bar Ilan University and a tour guide license from the Ministry of Tourism. Over the past few years, Miri guided tours of Jerusalem, as well as groups of overseas students on their trips touring Israel. Miri was part of an educational delegation sent to Australia by the Jewish Agency in order to teach seminars on Zionism and Israel advocacy to the youth. Today, Miri is the coordinator of the overseas spokespersons for the Binyamin Regional Council and works on exposing the towns in Binyamin to the international community.
