A division of the Central Conference of American Rabbis, CCAR Press produces books, ebooks, apps, certificates, Visual T’filah, and more for the Reform Movement and the wider Jewish community. This year, we’ve been focused on providing essential resources to help communities challenged by the COVID pandemic, including free flipbooks and new Visual T’filah services. At the same time, we’ve remained committed to our mission of publishing groundbreaking books with the highest standards of integrity and scholarship. We are proud to announce the publication of our new flagship Haggadah, Mishkan HaSeder, edited by Rabbi Hara Person and poet Jessica Greenbaum. In the first collaboration between Jewish and Latter-day Saint publishers, we’ve released Understanding Covenants and Communities: Jewish and Latter-day Saints in Dialogue in association with Brigham Young University. Other new and noteworthy titles include Mishkan Ga'avah: Where Pride Dwells, The Book of Jonah: A Social Justice Commentary, and This Precious Life: Encountering the Divine with Poetry and Prayer. We are honored that The Mussar Torah Commentary was named a finalist for a 2020 National Jewish Book Award in the Contemporary Jewish Life and Practice Category.
