David Lewkowich is Associate Professor in the Faculty of Education at the University of Alberta. He is the author of "The Figure of the Teacher in Comics: A Psychoanalytic Study of Immaterial and Fragmented Education," and works with theories and practices of sound and multimodality in the context of literacy education.
