Leah Cathleen is a Canadian fibre artist. She has been teaching school field trips for over 25 years - first with the Leighton Art Centre, then Fort Calgary and, for the past 14 years, ArtFelt Studio. Leah's zeal for felting led her to establish ArtFelt Studio so she could bring felting to schools. In the 15 years ArtFelt Studio has been delivering top-quality felting workshops in the Calgary area, Leah has taught well over 20,000 children and adults how to felt. Leah is a self-taught artist who is currently an artist member of the Leighton Art Centre. Her work has won awards at the Calgary Stampede, the Millarville Fall Fair and has been featured in Felt::Feutre, the Canadian felting association's newsletter and the Fibre Art Network magazine (US). Leah is passionate about wool and felting. She brings her joy for this unique medium into each of her felting lessons.
