Passionate about nurturing a love for food, I have dedicated the past seven years to teaching Foods to over 350 junior high students each year. With experience across six school boards in Alberta, I’ve taught grades 2-12 in Physical Education, Math, Science, Health, and various CTF courses. Holding a Master's in Educational Leadership and boasting 29 years in education, I strive to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment that spans multiple disciplines. My classes emphasize hands-on activities, encouraging creativity and teamwork while fostering a lifelong appreciation for healthy eating and trying new things. As a proud mom of two amazing adult children and a lovable Great Dane, I stay busy with family, renovation projects, scuba diving, and coaching club volleyball. I’m also a Master Scuba Instructor, First Aid Instructor, and work year-round as an Assistant Coordinator for the Calgary Stampede 10-day event. Let’s cook up some delicious lessons together!
