Sarah-Jane grew up in Calgary and performed with many local Calgary bands and orchestras throughout her childhood. She has a degree in music, a secondary teaching certificate and is currently enrolled in a Graduate Studies program specializing in Elementary Studies with the U of A. Mrs. Leslie is a seasoned music teacher with over 25 years experience working with music students. Sarah-Jane is currently the Treasurer with the Calgary Orff Board.
