
Jessee Wise is a Métis and Latina educator who is passionate about conservation education, youth leadership, and Indigenous culture and history. She is a lifelong learner and acquired a Bachelor of Arts in Social and Cultural Anthropology and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Calgary. Jessee has over 7 years of experience in formal and informal education settings including the Tsuut'ina Board of Education, University of Calgary, and Fort Calgary. She is currently the Conservation Education Program Coordinator at the Wilder Institute/Calgary Zoo. Her goal is to inspire youth to become champions in conservation and to take meaningful action in protecting animal species and their habitats.
