Steven Sheppard, M.Ed., EdD Student
Steven Sheppard is an educator and advocate for inclusion with experience in K-12 education. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Education, focusing on inclusive practices in schools and sports, particularly through the lens of Critical Disability Studies (CDS). His research explores systemic barriers faced by disabled students and athletes, with a focus on high school wrestling.

Steven has coached teams to city and provincial championships, presented at international conferences, and actively works to challenge conventional narratives of inclusion in education.

Outside the classroom, Steven enjoys playing rugby, volunteering, and finding time to relax with a good coffee. Passionate about creating lasting change, he’s dedicated to building more accessible, inclusive educational environments.
