Dr. Cari Din

Associate Professor (Teaching)
University of Calgary
Participates in 1 Session

Dr. Cari Din spent more time in swimming pools than our awe-inspiring natural surroundings while growing up in Calgary. Today, she goes outside to figure out what is going on inside through reflective conversations with mentors, peers, students, and herself. Cari is an Associate Professor (Teaching) in the Faculty of Kinesiology and the Academic Director of the Academic Leadership Academy at the University of Calgary. She is interested in strengthening and improving student experience and learning. She teaches at all levels of undergraduate courses and has been recognized with faculty, institutional, and national educational leadership, innovation, and teaching awards. Cari advocates for and helps individuals integrate experiential learning into undergraduate courses. She thinks we learn best through stories and cannot decide if she loves telling them or hearing them more!
