Marnee Somers has worked with diverse learners for the past 26 years. Throughout her career, she has primarily taught students who have identified learning disabilities in regular and specialized classes. Her passion for teaching reading inspired her professional development path to complete her certification in the Orton Gillingham Approach for teaching reading to students with dyslexia.  Marnee recently completed her Masters of Education at the University of Alberta, specializing in the Reading, Writing and Oral Disabilities Program.
