
Keshini Senanayake (she/her) is a secondary school music educator with the CBE. She has taught a variety of courses, including Instrumental Music, Concert Band, Choir, Guitar, Jazz, Strings, Leadership in the Arts, Drama, Film, CALM, and Creative Writing. She is currently a member of the Local 38 Diversity, Equity, and Human Rights Committee, and a co-organizer of the Local 38 AntiRacist Teachers Network. She was also a member of multiple committees across Canada creating resources for educators to diversify their unit plans. She is pursuing her Masters in Education, specializing in Educational Leadership and Policy, through an equity and anti-oppression lens. Her specialized areas of interests include exploring music education pedagogy through a critical lens, equity and anti-oppressive education, and educational leadership. Outside of the classroom, Keshini loves to be outdoors, where she can be found paddling on the water, exploring new foods around the city, or traveling around the world.
