The Public Interest Commissioner is an independent officer of the Alberta Legislature, responsible for investigating allegations of wrongdoing and reprisal in the public sector. Legislated by the Public Interest Disclosure (Whistleblower Protection) Act, our office serves as a resource for provincial public sector employees who believe wrongdoing is occurring in their organization.
