Carmen Leibel spent more than 16 years in broadcast journalism as an anchor, producer, and reporter for CTV and is now the Founder and CEO of Project Five, Communicate with Confidence!

During her time at CTV, Carmen started as a health journalist and progressed to the position of her dream job: news anchor. She created Project Five from the public speaking tips and tricks she learned throughout her journalism career. Officially launched in 2023, Project Five has reached thousands of students, from elementary to post-secondary. Carmen looks forward to helping more students and branching out to more youth across Canada. She designed a program with five simple steps to help students of all ages feel more comfortable and confident speaking in front of others. Carmen strongly believes these crucial communication skills will benefit them personally and professionally.
