Over six years, Brett founded and worked as the Head of Technology for Built by Field, a technology and design consultancy. He strategically consulted for, designed, and developed a variety of technical solutions including apps, web apps, websites, and in-house process automations. During this time, he also helped co-found and develop the product for a charitable giving startup, Tillen, which to date has raised almost half a million dollars for local charities. Over the last year, Brett has worked with OpenCycle (formerly SoundComply) and Fledge, as Head of Platform and Chief Technology Officer respectively to help oversee product development, research, and implementation of both SaaS platforms. With a background in behavioral psychology, he has a passion for the combination of innovative and impactful products, and loves understanding how to make a product work better while remaining simple.
