
Peggy has been teaching for more than 30 years in Lethbridge, Wetaskiwin, and Calgary, Alberta. Her innovative teaching practices have been recognized by students and colleagues through Telus Grassroots Funding for the “Chemistry of Pottery Project”, APEGGA Innovative Teaching Award-Southern Alberta, and Alberta ASCD, Calgary Regional Awards “Celebrating Innovative Practices 2001”. In pursuit of professional learning, Peggy participates and presents at local, provincial, and international conferences. Peggy contributes to test development, diploma exam field testing, validation, learner assessment, and authors material at the provincial and textbook level. Sharing ideas that promote student engagement in science education is one of her passions.
