Dr. Miwa A. Takeuchi (she/they) is Associate Professor in the Learning Sciences, University of Calgary.Miwa’s scholarship has been centered around equity and social justice in transdisciplinary mathematics and STEM education. Working collaboratively with young learners, teachers, community activists, and families, Miwa aims to co-design the learning environments that can leverage learners' embodied and emplaced disciplinary experiences into our collective actions toward social and environmental justice.
