In this cross-disciplinary workshop, you will take the devices and techniques from language arts to bring the biological world to life. Weaving descriptive language and other literary techniques into our work, we will capture wildlife and the larger conservation messages along with them. Describing tangible behaviours, zooming in on unique adaptations, and finding a relatable message that we can all connect to, we’ll sharpen writing tools while deepening our understanding of the world around us. Using our writing for a powerful purpose, we will also develop skills that we can apply to other writing & genres.
