Angela Hall is a Métis Albertan, professional teacher, and artist. She has completed a variety of graduate level courses including Trauma Recovery, Grief and Loss, Art Therapy, Drama Therapy, Expressive Art Therapy, and Psychotherapy with Kutenai Art Therapy Institute, St. Stephens College, and the University of Alberta. Angela has specialized in First Nations, Métis, and Inuit education for 30 years which includes K-12 Teacher, First Nations, Métis and Inuit Facilitator, Consultant, and Liaison, and First Nations, Métis and Inuit Education Manager with Alberta Education. She was nominated for Excellence in Teaching and won the ATA Outstanding Indigenous Educator Award in 2009. In 2019, Angela received an honorable mention for her poetry from the Kemosa Scholarship (First Nations, Métis and Inuit Mothers Who Write), and in 2022 won the National Indigenous Peace Hills Art Trust Contest. Today, Angela shares her talent and expertise by providing Indigenous art workshops and artist in residencies for schools across Alberta.
