
Babley (she/her) is a Calgary-based educator with 15 years of experience. She has spent the last decade working as a special education teacher, focusing on students with learning disabilities. Passionate about supporting marginalized students, she integrates meditation, social–emotional learning, and anti-racist principles into her work. For the past two years, Babley has served on the AntiRacist Teachers Network's planning committee. She is also pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Mental Health and Wellbeing in Schools: Social Justice in Practice at the University of Calgary. Outside of teaching, Babley is a mother of two teenage boys, a wife, and a dedicated meditator with the Isha Foundation, who enjoys creating art.
