Jeff Murray

Born and raised in Calgary on Treaty 7 Territory, Jeff Murray (he/him), holds a bachelor’s degree in art history with a minor in Museum and Heritage Studies from the University of Calgary. Jeff has a long history with Heritage Park Historical Village, from many enjoyable years spent visiting during his youth to working in several different departments around the Park over the past ten years. Jeff also brings a wealth of experience gained from his work at The Confluence Historic Site & Parkland and Studio Bell, Home of the National Music Centre which have given him invaluable insight into the areas of collections and public programming. In his current role as Education Program Specialist at the Park, Jeff focuses on creating unique programming for Adults, Youth, and Professional Day Camps with the goal of bringing our local history alive in a variety of ways that are both educational and fun.
