Andrea Barnes has been the Formal Education Specialist for Alberta Parks in Kananaskis Country for the past 20 years where she has been developing, delivering and evaluating nature and field experiences for students and workshops for educators. She is inspired and influenced by progressive teaching pedagogy and natural learning principles and has a growth mindset when it comes to improving her practice.  Andrea is also a part-time classroom teacher for an outdoor school in Canmore.
