Speaking in the third person, Richard Wagner is a grizzled veteran of the CBE, having taught in six schools over a twenty-six year career. He’s an English teacher by trade, but has happily dabbled with such courses as journalism, creative writing, film and media arts, credit recovery, and IB Theory of Knowledge as time and circumstances have demanded. As he nears the end of his career, he devotes his time to seeking the most coveted of all superpowers – the montage power, which would allow him to, in mere minutes, topple the towers of marking that always seem to loom so large, and to remember in vivid detail all the happiest moments of his life.
