Daniel Nelles

Dan holds a B.A. (German) and a B.Ed. (Modern Languages Education) from the University of Lethbridge as well as a Masters degree in Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership from Carleton University. He has been involved in the education sector for nearly 20 years, spending eight years as a high school teacher in the Calgary Board of Education before moving into a staff officer position with Calgary Public Teachers (ATA Local 38). In his role with the ATA, Dan provides members with advice and assistance related to the collective agreement, and is involved with strategic planning and communications with the Local.
