Beth Alexander loves to build things, whether it be a circuit, a robot, a play, a lamp, a computer program, or a computer studies program. Recently, she wrote about the need for high-touch, high-tech education in The Globe and Mail, arguing that we need to move away from screens and toward each other while learning. In 2017, Beth received a Prime Minister's Award for Teaching Excellence and in 2019, she was awarded a Fellowship at the Lowell Milken Center in Fort Scott, Kansas. She is a cofounder of the Teaching for Justice conference and seeks to help her students find ways to use STEM to make the world a better place.
