Breanne Robinson is a music specialist with 17 years of experience teaching all grades and Fine Arts areas including Elementary Music, Band, Musical Theater and Visual Arts. Her education includes a Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Regina, in secondary instrumental music and visual arts, specializing in trumpet performance. Her childhood was full of music; piano lessons reaching Royal Conservatory of Music Grade 8, singing in a children's choir, and as a member of the school bands. Breanne has also been a volunteer with the Calgary Stampede as a member of A Band of Outriders, a soprano in the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra Chorus, and a band clinician around the city. As a music teacher, Breanne is passionate about making music fun, accessible and meaningful, with elementary classes focused around the Orff music pedagogy. The Calgary Orff Chapter has become a beacon of light for Breanne, a place where other music specialists come together, offer friendship, share experiences, and make the job of a music teacher a little easier! Breanne is currently a member at large and Publicity on the Calgary Orff Chapter Board, and has completed Intro to Orff with plans for more.
