Audrey is a Grade 5 teacher and Learning Leader at Varsity Acres School in the Calgary Board of Education. Originally from Québec, she has been living in Alberta for 13 years, where she immediately fell in love with the mountains. With 18 years of teaching experience, she has dedicated the last 13 years to working in French immersion. Audrey is passionate about discovering and implementing best practices for language acquisition. Central to her teaching philosophy is fostering bilingual pride and identity and engaging her students in meaningful language learning tasks. She holds a Master’s degree in Teaching in Immersion Contexts from Simon Fraser University.
