ATA: Understanding the Basics of Anti- Racism: Critical discussion for anti-racist classrooms

How have we arrived at this moment of reckoning with race and racism in our schools and what should we do now? This session will include a brief introduction to antiracist education. Topics will include microaggressions in the classroom, understanding the importance of the intersectionality as a lens to help teachers and school leaders understand how engage with anti-racist pedagogy with direct application for their classrooms and school communities.
