In this workshop, teachers of all grade and subject levels will be introduced to weaving Indigenous literatures into their classrooms
using the Books to Build On website (https://werklund.ucalgary.ca/teaching-learning/indigenous-literatureslearning). Teachers will learn about the philosophy of starting with
story, then be guided through how the resources (books, picture books, podcasts, music, art, and much more) and teaching and learning ideas can be incorporated into their practices as soon as tomorrow. The literatures span pre-kindergarten to grade 12 and fit into every subject.
