Come prepared to play games that use easy to find double-six dominoes that teach the following concepts: subitizing, patterns, early operations, place value, graphing, mental math strategies, double digit addition/subtraction. This manipulative is easy to integrate into your math program both whole class or small group instruction. Throughout the past two years, dominoes have been the student's favorite games. The games are also perfect for family math games night and home practice. This workshop will show you the powerful math connections that can be made with domino games. Handout will contain gameboards, ideas for management, and assessment.
