Join Dr. Kori Czuy, ᒥᐦᑯᐱᐦᐁᓯᐤ, Cree/Métis Polish, Indigenous Engagement Specialist at TELUS Spark for a journey into Indigenous Science. Many have learned science through solely a Western lens, of which has been disconnected from land, body, spirit, and culture. When the restricted processes for knowledge are opened up, it allows for us to reconnect science and learning in general, with self, with the land, and with community. To begin this journey, it is important to first understand where restricted pedagogy arose, leading to a better understanding of how to weave together a diversity of protocols, processes, and ways of learning/knowing.
