DOOM & BLOOM: Seeing beyond our environmental blind spots.  Award-winning author and science broadcaster, Ziya Tong shows how our limited human senses give us a warped perspective of reality. As a society, Tong argues, we operate with blinders on. As she notes, in the 21st century there are cameras everywhere, except where our food comes from, where our energy comes from, and where our waste goes.

In this keynote, Tong puts a spotlight on how science & technology can help us see environmental threats more clearly, and with a clearer picture of the world, how teachers can lead us in becoming solution-focused for the future too.
