Over 60% of immersion teachers are native English-speakers. Furthermore, one of the top three challenges identified was the French competency level of immersion teachers, inherently becoming an issue for immersion school leaders. Explore ACPI's Language Coaching Program provides school boards with coaching to support the development of French language skills of immersion teachers, offering a model aimed at improving language skills in French. Discover how teachers become more confident in teaching French, and ultimately, a better language role model for their students. Educators are even incorporating participation in the program into their professional development plans. We are all lifelong learners and improving French language skills in a low-risk, one-to-one setting is an option to offer immersion educators. They will also be an opportunity to share your language journey.
