Science and spirituality are often characterised as opposing and irreconcilable worldviews. However, there are many people who deeply value both a scientific way of knowing and a spiritual way of knowing. How do people who value both a scientific and a spiritual perspective relate the two together? This was the central question of my doctoral research. The session will begin with a brief look at how the people in my study understood science and spirituality and how they brought them together in their lived experience. We will then explore ways to address how we and our students can inquire into our own relationship with science and spirituality in our own lives.
