In 2017 I was one of 15 teachers from across Canada selected to participate in the Canadian Society for Yad Vashem's scholarship program for 3 weeks in Israel. From that experience, I have developed a number of lessons and approaches to teaching this vital piece of history at the middle years level. Educators will walk away with ideas, reading lists, and activities that can be implemented on Monday morning.
