Did you know that if you do not start talking to youth about e-cigarettes and tobacco they could start using by their 10th birthday? With the rise of e-cigarette popularity among young Canadians there are concerns about the possible adverse health effects, re-normalization of smoking and tobacco uptake among youth, and other unforeseen consequences of their use. During this myth busting session participants will leave with an increased understanding of issues related to e-cigarettes and youth, e-cigarettes and cannabis, prevalence rates, and impacts of nicotine on the developing brain. Resources, tools and curriculum supports will be shared to support your learning.
