As a helping profession, teachers play a pivotal role in the lives of children and youth. When it comes to mental health and suicide prevention, we also know that early intervention is key…but how do teachers know to identify possible warning signs - and connect vulnerable students to the help they need? Come learn about current tools and resources available to all educators across Alberta through the Centre for Suicide Prevention (CSP), including two newly released workshops geared directly to caregivers, a webinar series developed especially for teachers, a province-wide training project for pre-service teachers entering the profession, and more. Free toolkits will be provided to take away, along with a chance to win a free registration for an upcoming CSP workshop!
