Hear a unique perspective on disabilities. Become aware of the challenges and potential of students living with disabilities while discovering the importance of inclusiveness. Learn the to see the ability in students with disabilities and help them find their freedom vehicle. When encountering those with disabilities it is important to assume ability while building on strengths rather than focusing on challenges. Often people have lots in common with the uncommon person so it is important to see people through a lens of ability not disability. When teaching students with disabilities the key to their success is “Tolerance Adaption”; use support not segregation and take the stigma out of disability by putting in the understanding of what’s necessary to succeed.
