Uniquely Albertan for over 30 years. Our volunteers have reached hundreds of thousands of students across the province, sharing their passion for science!

Mission: We bring science to life for students through hands-on activities and provide educators with tools and resources to get kids excited about science.

Scientists & Engineers-in-the-Classroom program: Volunteer scientists, engineers, and subject matter experts deliver hands-on and curriculum-linked presentations for teachers and their students. Visits include hands-on activities or engaging demos that enhance student learning and get kids excited about science! Teachers learn from the presentations too, impacting future classes.

Teacher Science Workshops program: Curriculum-linked PD workshops for teachers in groups in their schools or through School Board run sessions. Workshops include grade- and curriculum-specific individual workshops, science symposiums, and Science 101 presentations for Division I and II teachers.
