Brett Kowalchuk has been teaching elementary music for the past 9 years after working in special needs settings, then as an elementary and middle school classroom teacher.  With his only degrees in psychology and education, the Calgary Orff Chapter was an invaluable resource for musical pedagogy that has built the foundation for his music teaching. Brett's primary focus is to bring joy to the music classroom, using games, songs and activities that build a foundation for musical lifelong learning.  He is currently a Member at Large on the Calgary Orff Chapter board.
