Matt Sauer currently serves the Calgary Catholic School District as teacher specialist/consultant for Racial Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI). Sauer’s focus is on helping create and sustain more Culturally Responsive Schools and Classrooms. As a Board member of the Black Teachers Association of Alberta and with a passion for engaging Community, building strong and healthy relationships, and living in solidarity with others, he has worked with teachers across Alberta.
