Mat Mailandt is an award winning comedian and President of Think Fast Comedy, an organisation that delivers comedy education in English and French across Canada. He's best known for his work as the "Léons" guy, in the iconic Leon's Furniture commercial campaign. He's travelled the world performing and teaching improv and uses the lessons he's learned onstage to inspire youth to listen, take risks and joyfully embrace failure. He has a bilingual diploma from William Aberhart High School and BFA from the University of Calgary. He was the keynote speaker at the CBE's 50 Years of French Immersion Gala in 2024 and loves speaking and delivering workshops in French.
