In this session, you’ll discover how to revitalize calculus instruction by integrating modern tools and real-world applications, bridging the gap between classroom concepts and practical experiences. Calculus has often been taught through traditional methods, but with computers in our pockets and modelling tools at our fingertips, we now have the opportunity to make calculus more relevant and engaging for students.

You’ll be introduced to a selection of free digital tools that allow for dynamic measurement, modeling, and problem-solving, turning abstract concepts into interactive experiences. You’ll explore hands-on applications that bring real-world data into your classroom, empowering students to see how calculus applies to everything. By the end of this session, you’ll leave with a toolkit of resources and ready-to-use classroom problems, designed to help students better understand and appreciate the practical value of calculus.

Registration is required.
