Using the four “A”s of Awareness, Access, Aptitude, and Awesomeness, this session will showcase how SAIT collaborated with five school authorities—High Prairie School Division, Calgary Board of Education, Calgary Catholic School Division, Palliser Regional School Division, and Fusion Collegiate—to develop the Exploring Skilled Trades program. This innovative program is offered free to Career and Technology Foundations (CTF) teachers and students across the province, providing a comprehensive introduction to the skilled trades. 

Presenters will guide you through the features of this online program, demonstrating how it can be effectively integrated into classroom instruction. You'll learn how to utilize this valuable resource to engage students and inspire interest in the diverse opportunities available within the skilled trades. Join us to discover how the Exploring Skilled Trades program can enrich your teaching and support student learning in this vital field.
